A new chapter inspired by the elegance of Belgravia
Nestled in the heart of one of London’s most prestigious neighbourhoods, the first phase of the Chelsea Barracks development unveils a luxury residential complex comprising 64 apartments and 3 duplexes. Designed to blend seamlessly into the urban fabric, the project redefines contemporary living in Belgravia while honouring the historic legacy of the site.
The residential buildings are arranged around landscaped walkways and carefully designed public spaces, creating natural connections with the surrounding community. The overall composition echoes the spirit of traditional Georgian squares, while embracing a modern and sustainable vision for the district.
Contemporary architecture rooted in history
The architecture marries classical elegance with modern lines. Façades are crafted from varying finishes of Portland stone—sometimes smooth, sometimes textured—accentuated by fluted vertical columns, recessed bays, and projecting balconies. This refined architectural language is further enriched by bespoke balustrades and interiors inspired by the area’s heritage, lending depth and sophistication to the development.
Unique details, a distinct identity
Custom-designed leaf motifs for balcony railings and penthouse screens pay tribute to the area’s historic market gardens and the nearby Chelsea Physic Garden. Every detail has been thoughtfully conceived to create an atmosphere that is rich, warm, and full of character.
This project was developed while working as Associate Architect at Squire and Partners in London, highlighting a high-level collaborative approach at the intersection of heritage, contemporary design, and residential excellence.
